CaSTL researchers partnered with the Optical Society of America (OSA-SPIE) student chapter and Alpha Chi Sigma Colony at UC Irvine to introduce students to the Bond Breaker game at the 2018 San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering Expo Day. OSA-SPIE demoed Spectroboxes for students to build their own at home and investigate the properties of light and Alpha Chi Sigma featured polymers by having students make slime.
