The Director of Education, Outreach, and Diversity (EOD), Danielle Watt, partnered with the other CCI EODs and scientists to host a booth to recruit students for summer research and graduate programs. The EODs discussed Center programs that train students in effective communication during the Henry McBay Outstanding Educator Award Session in STEM Education, Presentation Title: "Training Effective Communication to Prepare Future STEM Leaders in Chemistry". They also assisted conference organizers by serving as resume reviewers, poster competition judges, and hosted a hands-on activity booth at the STEM Festival. Summer Diversity Research Fellow, Stephanie Jean, presented her project during the Nanoscience technical session, Title: ALD-Functionalized Plasmonic Nantennas: Toward Single-Molecule Investigations of Photocatalysis.
