Congratulations Dr. Danielle Watt - 2019 NOBCChE Henry C. McBay Outstanding Teacher Award

A Huge Shout-out and Congratulations extended to Dr. Danielle Watt, CaSTL Director of Education, Outreach, and Diversity.

Dr. Watt recently garnered the NOBCChE Distinguished Professional Award for the Henry C. McBay Outstanding Teacher Award, which was granted for demonstrating outstanding contributions to education and the mentoring of young scientist. The 46th Annual Meeting for the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) was held in  St. Louis, MO, November 18-21, 2019 and this year’s theme, "Gateway to Excellence," served as encouragement for participants to experience opportunities in networking and mentorship between students of all levels and professionals. In addition, opportunities for scientific dialogue through technical programming, as well as personal and professional development opportunities were highlighted.  The NOBCChE conference has been bringing together, in one meeting, under-represented minority serving institutions, key federal agencies, and industries committed to the increase of diverse persons in STEM fields.

CONGRATULATIONS & KUDOS DR. WATT!!!
